Make Haitian Culture Visible, Vibrant, and Accessible
Haiti Cultural Exchange develops, presents, and promotes the cultural expressions of the Haitian people. Founded in Brooklyn in 2009, HCX creates space for Haitian and Haitian-descended artists to share their work and for Haitian New Yorkers to see their lives and traditions treated as complicated, alive, and joyful.
Through music, visual art, film, dance, literature, family programs, artist residencies, public conversation, and community-based projects, HCX supports artists, strengthens cultural continuity, and brings Haitian culture to audiences across Brooklyn and New York City.
Your gift helps us keep programs affordable and accessible, compensate artists fairly, welcome families and audiences, and sustain a strong Haitian cultural presence in New York.
Support Haitian artists, culture, and community with a gift to HCX today.
